please email Galles and we will find a spot for you. Thank you and
we look forward to see you all out at the games for what looks like
could be the best season for the pack to date.
LAST Open tryout camps
Feb. 20th
Registration at 11, cost will be $25, camp
fee's will go toward your team fee of $200.
Camp III... Watch out
here it comes. The Offense is starting to get it. With
additions at Running back, and WR, depth will not be a issue this
season, but more so how will the coaches get everyone the ball.
This camp was the offense's time. The O line is starting to get
the blocking as the backs are starting to find their groove and get in
time with the big guys up front. Defensively its now time to step
up again, the offense was able to match the intensity and do some good
things on O today.
Also today it was
announced that two of the best Wolfpack family will be moving on.
Captain Bryan Payne the outstanding linebacker will be retiring.
Bryan has lead this team from the front for the years he was here, he
was apart of the great tradition of Wolfpack linebackers, we will
miss his intensity and leadership, and the young guys coming up will
have a high standard to uphold with his absence, thank you Bryan for
your commitment to the team and to the players, and being that constant
professional. Also John and Jill, "with the new addition son
Ethan," Willhoite will be moving to Oklahoma as Jill will take a
promotion. John also has led this team from the front breaking all the
running back records for the team. A captain every year, John
never missed practice and was always ready and always got his team
ready. His leadership will also be missed, and the young running backs
will have to work hard to carry on the tradition he has made. Also
we would like to thank Jill for her support and always being there to
help out the team as part of the family. Best luck to the
Willhoite family.
Have
had a lot of request for Jersey numbers... you will not get one till
you pay your $200, so the sooner you get it paid, the better your
chances to get your number.
Players be ready to go no later then 15 minutes till noon, do not be
late, do not come to this team if your not looking to compete for
your position. We will not move without a purpose in anything
we do. We will walk before we run, do not get frustrated with
what we do, because you better understand what is going on, or you
will not play... its on you as a player to understand your position
in and out. Listen to your coaches, not only to what they are
trying to say, but what they are trying to get you to see, there is
a reason for what you are doing. DO NOT come to this team with
the attitude that you are better then everyone around you, and
refuse to get better.
If your
looking to go quickly, you will do it by yourself, if your looking to go
FAR, then we do it TOGETHER.
On this
team you play for the guy next to you harder then what you play for
yourself, refuse to lose and have the FEAR of letting your teammates
down drive you to play better then you ever have.
Next up FEB 6th CAMP IV
LAST CAMP is coming up on
Saturday, FEB. 20th... what you will need to have ready to participate.
You will need to pay your $25 (unless you want to pay more toward
your fee's, VETS We expect you to pay $200 at the first camp, you
know your on the team and you know the deal, there is no excuse for
you to not be ready to pay). Equipment is required to get in
on live contact drills, however if you do not have your helmet or
shoulder pads yet, you can still get involved and do drills and show
the coaches what you can to get on the team. If you play O,
then you need to get a NAVY practice jersey, and if you play D, you
need a WHITE jersey. We will run individual drills, one on one
drills, some zone, man on man, 9 on 7 and team drills, so you will
have time to shine for the coaches.
If you are buying a helmet you need a WHITE one with WHITE facemask,
gloves will be white, navy, black or grey, if your buying armbands or
under armor, make them white or navy (not black) and socks will be ALL
WHITE, and all the way to the knee or ankle socks all white, no other
color, and no NFL style half white and navy. Be ready to goon the
field at 12 sharp, registration will be at 11, giving you time to get
through the paper work, pay your camp fee's, and warmed up and ready.
Do not show up at 12, you need to be there at 11. We look forward
to seeing you all out there.
At this time Wolfpack would like
to announce there is still positions open for game day type help. We
will accept any email/ resume and then Wolfpack will intern contact you
for a interview. If you as a player or fan know of someone that might
fit any of these positions, please let them know so that we can see
everyone and make the best decision for the Team. These positions are
chain crew, water boy/girl, stat keeper, ast to coaches, sideline
staff...
